The Grand Canyon. Sedona. Krispy Kreme. There are just a few of the extraordinary things that await Minnesotans who get too cold (and too tired of their favorite donut shop not having a location in accessible distance) and decide to vacation in Arizona.

I tried my best to capture the desert in its glory. The Grand Canyon will never be fully experienced in a photo, but the panoramas I managed to stitch together are the best I could do to showcase the truly awe-inspiring sight. It was my second time visiting, and it was just as spectacular as the first.

Sedona, too, was a delight. From the Holy Cross Chapel, a lovely little building on the top of a mountain overlooking the city, you can see for miles, across the desert, through the bluffs and mountains that surround you on every side. The red rocks are what Sedona is known for, and it didn't disappoint.
